Report and photos of A masquerade were taken as seen exercising his franchise at a polling unit in Lagos state. This happen during the governorship election.

As some states around the country held their governorship elections in the 18th of March 2023 (Saturday). As the elections were going smoothly at various polling units, it came as a surprise when a masquerade pay a visit in one of the polling units. A Yoruba deity known as ‘Ara Orun’ came not only to visit but to cast its vote.

It was seen in a photo shared online thumb printing for its preferred candidate.

However, social media users have wondered how he was accredited to vote at the polling unit since it wore its full regalia.
