Drake claiming to be a Nigerian in a post recently

 

A Popular American rapper, Aubrey Drake Graham, AKA Drake just claimed he may be a Nigerian after following the outcome of a recent ancestry test by his family.

Drake is a well known American music star, with estimated net worth of $250 million and reportedly receives $70 million yearly, as returns in his lifetime carrier.

Sharing his Dad’s ancestry results on social media, Drake revealed he is 30% Nigerian. He made the disclosure on Sunday in a post on his Instagram page.

He wrote, “This is my dad’s results, does this mean I’m a Naija man finally?.”

Even though his results and post, note that Drake is not the first foreign superstar to claim Nigerian roots. Beyoncé, SZA, Diddy and a host of others have claimed their ancestors were from Nigeria in the past.

Last year, Rihanna claimed her ancestors were Igbo. She later explained that she didn’t mention Nigeria because the country was nonexistent at the time her ancestors left the shores of Igboland.
