China Renewable Energy source (Solar Panels) in Panda Shape

 

This seems unbelievable but it's true, here in China on their solar energy source on the fields. China has demonstrated its commitment to bolstering renewable energy by completing a 250-acre solar farm shaped like a panda. 

Of which these solar panels Serving as both a PR endeavor and a testament to China's leadership in renewable energy investment, the project was undertaken by Panda Green Energy and recently completed its first phase in Datong, China. 

The solar farm, proposed in 2016, strategically utilizes darker monocrystalline silicon and lighter thin film cells to create an array that mimics the appearance of a giant panda. 

This innovative venture is poised to replace the burning of 1 million tons of coal over the next 25 years, reflecting China's rapid strides in energy system enhancement.

This panda-shaped solar farm in Datong marks the initial phase of a broader plan that envisions 100 panda-themed solar plants across China and Asia in the coming years. This initiative aligns with China's larger Belt and Road Initiative, which seeks to position China as an influential leader in Asian external policy by investing trillions of dollars in infrastructure development along the historic Silk Road route.

Under the guidance of Xi Jinping's foreign policy, China aims to invest around $150 billion annually in the 68 participating countries, solidifying its pivotal role in shaping the region's energy and economic landscape.
