Wizkid's mother passes away; Sadly reports Wizkid, has lost his mother.

Reports from a close associate of the Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter, and performer Ayodeji Balogun, who is popularly known as Wizkid, have confirmed that the singer lost his mother in the early hours of today, Friday, August 18, 2023 🕯️

Mrs. Balogun, was a pillar of support for her son's flourishing career, often seen showing her support for him on from the sidelines at concerts and events.

Wizkid, whose real name is Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, has not yet made a public statement regarding the loss. Wizkid‘s mum, Mrs Jane Dolapo Balogun, died at around 1:30 am on Friday, August 18.

Based on The PUNCH’s report, Mr Sunday Are, who is Wizkid’s manager confirmed that Mrs Balogun died in the early hours of Friday. ‘Yes, she died this morning, at about 1:30 am’, Sunday Are said.

Mrs Balogun is succeeded by her children – Ayodeji Balogun (Wizkid), Yetunde Balogun, Lade Balogun – and grandchildren.
