The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially released the deployment list for the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1 prospective corps members. The announcement was made on Monday through the scheme’s verified Facebook page and other social media platforms, signaling the next phase of preparation for thousands of Nigerian graduates. All Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) are expected to log in to the official NYSC portal to check their deployment status and begin necessary documentation ahead of the orientation exercise.

In a follow-up advisory, the NYSC directed all PCMs to print and sign the Addendum, a critical document that must be submitted upon arrival at their respective orientation camps. The scheme emphasized that the Addendum is a mandatory requirement for camp registration and should not be overlooked by any PCM. This step marks a vital part of the onboarding process into the national youth service programme.

To ensure the safety of corps members, the NYSC strongly cautioned against travelling at night. The agency stressed the importance of prioritizing safety during transit, especially given the long distances many PCMs may have to cover to reach their designated orientation camps. Corps members are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and arrive during daylight hours to avoid unnecessary risks.

The NYSC also provided important clarifications for those posted to certain high-volume states. Some PCMs deployed to Lagos State will be required to undergo their Orientation Course in camps located in neighboring states such as Ekiti, Ondo, Ogun, and Osun. Similarly, corps members assigned to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) will attend orientation in either Nasarawa or Kaduna camps. This strategic arrangement is part of the scheme’s effort to manage logistics and accommodation effectively during the orientation period.
