My Journey From Music to Blogging: How 9jaSonic Started

Hello everyone! My name is NiliFFx (Niliflash), the proud owner of 9jaSonic Blog. Today, I want to share the real story behind my journey; how I moved from being a music artiste to becoming a full-time blogger on 9jaSonic.

Back in 2017, I started as a musician, writing and recording songs with a few upcoming producers. Life was tough, money was tight, and I had to use my small street earnings and even my feeding money just to record songs. I sold ice blocks for my brother and saved every little coin I could. But despite the hustle, the dream of doing more music wasn’t easy to keep alive.

In 2019, I gained admission into the Nigerian Army University Biu (NAUB) to study Electrical and Electronic Engineering. During my time there, my passion shifted as I reached out to bloggers to promote my music, but their charges were too high. Instead of paying them, I decided to learn blogging myself.

By 2020, I launched my first blog called ValidVibes.com.ng, but I couldn’t renew the hosting the following year. Later, I created 9jaSonic.com.ng, and in 2022, I finally launched 9jaSonic.com. my biggest step forward.

Back then, I wasn’t the smartest student in class, but I was determined. I spent more time working on my blog than socializing. I used my feeding money to pay for my domain, hosting, and internet bundles. I was blogging with my old Tecno Pouvoir 3 Air, learning web programming through YouTube and online articles.

Some classmates told me to switch to adult content to make fast money, but I stayed focused on my entertainment niche which was not paying me as at that time. In 2023, things began to change, I started learning how to mine, meme coins, P2P and started Forex after in 2024 sharing time on blog and learning new skills. Later in the same year 2024, God made it possible that my site was approved to start earning from Google AdSense. Brands, comedians, singers, began contacting me for promotions, ads, and collaborations.

Today, 9jaSonic has grown into one of Nigeria’s recognized blogs, known across African countries. Doing very well and giving better taste to all its clients and visitors.

As usual the process won't stop as I've promised myself and I’m still not watch others success without trying my own. This is just motivation to do more. My advice? Never give up on your dreams. Stay consistent, trust God, and believe that your time will come.

Music will always be a part of me, and someday, you’ll hear me sing again — just for fun and passion.
