You may be wondering how mobile vehicles are made if you haven't witnes any and how long it takes to couple one. Though it depends on the company, the machines they have and the human labour they give out in the production of each vehicle.
Today is another shocking news from "Tesla Motors", something not everyone know about. The speed of its production from scratch to well finished vehicle. Now here is the main part to check it for yourself;
A new Twitter video reveals that Tesla's Gigafactory in Shanghai can produce a new Model 3 or Model Y vehicle every 40 seconds, highlighting the impressive scale and efficiency of Tesla's manufacturing in China. This manufacturing speed even surpasses Ford's Dearborn, Michigan, truck plant, which can produce an F-150 every 49 seconds.
The video, shared on Shanghai's tourism handle, provides an inside look at Giga Shanghai. It shows production-line workers explaining how robotic arms work together to enhance efficiency and how double-stacked workshops optimize production lines.
Tesla's Q1 and Q2 2023 earnings reports indicate that the Shanghai factory has been operating at near maximum capacity for several months. The factory's annual capacity is reported to be over one million vehicles, and it has already sold close to half a million made-in-China (MIC) EVs in the first half of 2023. The plant also serves as an export hub for Tesla, with MIC Model 3 and Model Y vehicles being shipped to markets like Thailand and Canada.
